Wicklesham’s unique appeal is its flexibility. The house, both inside and out, offer a wide range of angles and aspects, against the stunning backdrop of an unspoilt view over the Vale of the White Horse.

The west, south and east elevations of the house are quite different, offering a variety of different exterior shots.

Inside the rooms are spacious, light and airy, again offering a rich choice for both film and photo shoots from one location. The house has three main reception rooms and eight bedrooms – all 38 rooms are available for hire. A room layout can be found here. Recently decorated, the paintwork is fresh, although rooms may be redecorated or refurnished to suit. Since both house and estate are all privately-owned, we can ensure you get the privacy, peace and control of the location you need for your project.

There is plenty of parking in the drive, in half an acre of hard standing among the farm buildings and in the six-acre paddock in front of the house. We are also well used to accommodating large film crews.

You’ll find nearly all your practical needs can be managed with ease. Three–phase electricity comes up to the house and there's easy access to water. Wireless broadband access is also available. Local services, such as hotels and restaurants, are also good, and we can provide you with details.

Our aim at Wicklesham is to ensure your film or photoshoot goes as smoothly as possible. We are used to hosting large crews and enjoy the hustle and bustle it brings to Wicklesham, but are happy to move out, if required, and short-notice bookings are not a problem.
