Inside,
the house is spacious, light and airy and again offers a
number of different aspects to suit specific camera
angles or situations.
|
|
Built
in around 1840, the house was originally a country
retreat. It was refurbished in the early 1900s, adding
Edwardian features, such as bay windows, butler
cupboards and light fittings that still exist
today.

|
The
period features throughout the house give the rooms a
genuine feel, which is matched with family antiques and
suitable soft furnishings.
|
| Many
of the rooms downstairs have original terracotta-tiled
floors, some have coving and impressive fire surrounds,
while the front hall has a polished oak floor. |
|

|
| Recently
decorated, the paintwork is fresh, although rooms may be
redecorated or refurnished to suit. |
  |
|
There are
eight bedrooms upstairs - spacious and light with views
over the garden and Vale. There are 38 rooms all
together, including a movie room and wine cellar in the
basement. |
