In January 2005, Wicklesham was used as the setting for Chocolate (Inspired Movies), directed by Vivek Agnihotri. The house was chosen as the home of a wealthy lawyer, played by veteran Bollywood legend Anil Kapoor. Several rooms inside were used by the 50-strong cast and crew, and filming also took place outside on the lawn during the two-day shoot.

In September 2004,  Wicklesham hosted Fox TV’s Billionaire: Branson’s Quest for the Best (Bunim Murray). The production saw Richard Branson take 16 candidates, looking to join the Virgin empire, through stunts around the world. The 150-strong Californian/English cast and crew spent two weeks at Wicklesham, transforming the house and filming round the clock.
